Things are busy, busy, busy around our office this month. Our team spent last week finalizing all details for the Human Development Foundation’s 15th Annual Fundraising Dinner which took place in Chicago this past Saturday. It was a fun evening which raised money for the HDF – an amazing organization aiming to end poverty in Pakistan. SOMOD | 22 was so pleased to be able to help manage this event. More details to come later!
What we wanted to show you now, however, is an example of the work we have done for one of our corporate clients. This past January we were honored to manage the Optum Pro Cycling 2012 Team Launch presented by Kelly Benefits Strategies Team. From the team presentation to the candy bar – the event was a memorable success.
Optum approached SOMOD | 22 looking for an event that was branded from beginning to end, with attention paid to every detail. We were ecstatic, because we knew this was right up our alley. Not only do we create branded events, our goal is to seamlessly manage events so that our clients don’t have to spend wasted time worrying about an event on top of millions of other things they need to do. Below you will see some of the details of how we incorporated important aspects of Optum’s brand in to this spectacular evening, without any stress for our corporate client.
This event was to announce the new lineup of racers and to establish goodwill towards the Optum brand by offering an opportunity to socialize with racers, their families, and other fans with food and drinks and great music.
The event took place at the Guthrie Theater located on the outskirts of downtown Minneapolis. It is an exceptional venue whose surroundings instantly add a modern touch and plenty of class to any event. Parked outside was Optum’s company car, which was warmly received by all guests. Many stopped to tell our staff how much they loved it!
Keeping a consistent branding throughout the event was one of SOMOD | 22’s key goals. One of the very fun and unique ways we kept Optum at the focus of every attendee was this branded overhead light. Guests enjoy their food and drink, and Optum stayed at the top of their mind.
The racing team’s colors are grey and orange, so to keep consistent messaging and also to add a vibrant pop of color, we used these chic grey table covers and kept all florals and treats orange. These treats from various local bakeries were a hit, and guests got to show a bit of team spirit while indulging.
Seen again here is another team spirited linen and flower combination. This first picture shows a cocktail table placed in front of a screen showing highlights from team’s previous seasons. This decor is not only elegant, but it is relevant. It adds class, but it also keep consistency with all elements of the event.
